Massive Protest Starts Ahead of ICG Forum in Oslo

Oslo,(insidesomalia.org)-Angry Somali protestors have staged the maximum demonstration that Somali outsiders forever made in the history at the front of the scene that the international contact group meeting was taking place in Norwegian capital Oslo on Wednesday.

More than 1,100 Somalis were reported to have participated that protest some of them travelled from Sweden.

The demonstration aim was to pressurize the ICG group to adjoin the debate about the consecutive killings/massacre of the Ethiopian troops In Somalia on the civilians.

Appearing as irritated hundreds of Somalis have turned up at Holmenkollen park hotel that is the meeting place of the ICG.

The slogans of the protestors including: -

“That ICG facilitate the withdrawal of the Ethiopian troops from Somalia

The protestors have declared that they are committed to be persistent their feeling expression against Ethiopian soldiers and will continue the demonstrations to advocate for their right as they put it.

United nations special envoys for Somalia Ahmad Ould Abdallah and Norwegian deputy foreign minister have jointly moved out from the meeting hotel toward the protestors.

The demonstration has stepped up after the demonstrators saw the US secretary of state for African affairs Jandayi Frazer landed from a sedan to the meeting point as they moved towards Frazer were chanting slogans against her she gradually run to the assembly hotel.

Ahmadu Ould Abdalla has intensely had heated discussion with angry Somali woman that is to say Amina Said.

“Peace of be upon you” Abdalla said to the protestors.

He told Somalis that they are unique nation in the world because they have similar language, religion, culture” please be in agreement we will help you” Abdalla said as he was walking in the protestors.

At length the protestors have one time singed Somali independence song.
